Kreyton Guthrie Design has a goal to design and produce high quality custom furniture,
displays, exhibits and more using only sustainable materials and non toxic paints, stains,
and finishes.
Design Philosophy
The subtle use of color along with thoughtful and simple lines define my style and my
own interpretation of natural design. Unique, clean, one of a kind solutions using natural
materials.
Sustainable Materials
The materials specified in my designs are natural hardwood and veneer wood species
from sustainable forests and formaldehyde free MDF. Other materials include glass, steel,
aluminum and stone.
Water Based Finish
The paint and clear top coat sealer specified in my designs are water based in nature. The
top coat finish is clear and works great over water based sanding sealer and over oil
based stains. These water based or water bourne lacquers require only mild soap and
warm water clean up. No toxic waste. The spray equipment only requires an occational
amonia cleaning, that's it.
My fabrication shop has no toxic smell and neither will your custom furniture. Safe for
your entire family. Safe for the environment.
